After Top Gear, Autocar are second in line to released a review video of the new baby Range Rover, the Evoque. They also tested the SD4 Prestige version of the Range Rover Evoque, in 3-door coupe body style. The Evoque version used for the purpose of this review is powered by a 2179 cc 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. with an output of 187 bhp at 3500 rpm and 310 lb-ft of torque at 1750 rpm, the Range Rover Evoque offers a fuel consumption of up to 44.1 mpg in the combined cycle and 169 g/km CO2 emissions level.
The Evoque, even though it's a "baby" Range Rover, is still quite heavy, weighing 1670 kg. This reflects on its performance. Range Rover says that the Evoque can accelerate
from 0 to 60 mph in 8.5 seconds and that it has a top speed of 121 mph. The price of the tested Range Rover Evoque is 39,999 GBP.
