VW released today the first Volkswagen NMS sedan sketch showing the new model that will be built at the company's plant in Chattanooga, Tenn. VW says the mid-size Volkswagen NMS sedan, which hasn’t' got a name yet, will be slightly larger than the Passat.
As seen in the sketch, the front end of the Volkswagen NMS sedan has a number of lines that are influenced by the latest Audi designs.
The German carmaker plans to build around 150,000 units of the new sedan a year, with the production starting in 2011. Most of the new Volkswagen NMS sedan units will be sold in North America.
