In February this year Volkswagen announced the launch of a new mid-size sedan codenamed Volkswagen NMS. Today VW released a second Volkswagen NMS teaser sketch of their new mid-size sedan which will be built at an all-new production facility in Chattanooga, TN. The company says the Volkswagen NMS will be launched on the market in late 2011.
The Volkswagen NMS will be larger than the Passat and most believe it will also be cheaper, with a price in the 20,000 USD range.
The launch date of the Volkswagen NMS will be the same as the one for the new generation Passat and the German company plans to build around 150,000 units a year.
