VW has announced today the Volkswagen Golf R price for the European market. The recently launched Volkswagen Golf R is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre 4-cylinder TSI engine that sends 199 kW / 270 PS and 350 Nm of torque between 2,500 and 5,000 rpm to all four wheels through a AWD system. The engine of the Volkswagen Golf R is coupled with DSG gearbox.
The top speed of the Volkswagen Golf R is electronically limited to 250 km/h and the performance hatch can reach 100 km/h from stand still in 5.5 seconds.
The Volkswagen Golf R is equipped with LED headlights and newly developed LED rear lights.
The Volkswagen Golf R price for the European market starts at 36,400 Euros.
