The tuners from mcchip-dkr have unveiled today the mcchip Volkswagen Golf R program which offers more power and updated looks for the German hot hatch. Through an updated engine management system and ECU, the power output of the mcchip Volkswagen Golf R goes up from the standard 270 hp and 350 Nm to 315 hp and 440 Nm of torque. The mcchip Volkswagen Golf R ECU upgrade is priced at 899 EUR. The tuners says the extra power does not affect the DSG gearbox of the mcchip Volkswagen Golf R.
The mcchip Volkswagen Golf R program also offers a new set of springs from H&R, priced at 350 EUR, that also lower the ride height. For lightness, as well as a new image, the mcchip Volkswagen Golf R sits on OZ Ultraleggera 8x19 inch alloys
with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 235/35-19 high performance tires. The price for the new wheels is 3190 EUR.
