Alpha-N Performance revealed today a new aftermarket program for the Volkswagen Golf R (VI). Thanks to an EVOMS sports air filter, a bespoke stainless steel sport exhaust system and an EVOX chip tuning box, the Alpha-N Volkswagen Golf R's 2.0-liter engine develops 330 hp. Unfortunately, Alpha-N did not disclose the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time of their VW Golf R, not its top speed. The Alpha-N Volkswagen Golf R is equipped with a Road & Track suspension system developed by Ohlins, which should improve to hot hatch's handling and stability during cornering. The new Alpha-N Golf R sits on a set of 20-inch light-weight OZ Racing Ultraleggera HLT wheels with a gold finish. Alpha-N also lowered the ride height of the VW Golf R.
Alpha-N Performance is going to announce the price of these modifications for the Volkswagen Golf R at a later date.
