Volkswagen announced today the full price list and specifications, including optional and standard equipment lists, of the Golf VII for the UK market. At launch, the Volkswagen Golf VII is going to be available on the British market with a choice between four engines: 1.2 TSI, 1.4 TSI, 1.6 TDI and 2.0 TDI. The transmission options include a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG gearbox. Right from the launch, the Golf 7 is going to be sold as both a 5-door model and as a 3-door hatchback. For the diesel range, the price starts at 18,955 GBP OTR for the 1.6 TDO 3-door version and it goes up to 24,625 GBP OTR for the 2.0 TDI 5-door DSG model. For the petrol range, the Volkswagen Golf VII's price list for the UK starts at 16,330 GBP OTR and it goes up 24,120 GBP OTR for the top of the range 1.4 TSI ACT model.
Volkswagen is going to sell the 7th generation Golf with quite a few pricey optional extras. These include the 785 GBP Bi-xenon headlights, the 930 GBP premium white paint, and the 2,475 GBP premium leather interior. The navigation system is going to cost you 1,690 GBP, while the panoramic roof will leave your pockets 900 GBP lighter.
