Siemoneit Racing, a German company, launched a new upgrade program for the sixth generation of the Volkswagen Golf, called the R20 Black Pearl. Siemoneit's R20 golf is not your average pirate ship, but a 530 hp monster. The VW Golf R20 comes with extensive modifications, which include the ECU, the DSG transmission, the exhaust and intake systems, the center intercooler and the high pressure fuel pump. Siemoneit says that their R20 VW Golf offers sportier gear-changes and fuel-efficient gear shift points for a reduced fuel consumption.
The Siemoneit Volkswagen Golf R20 program includes a special air intake, and a reprogrammed ECU which are able to increase the output to 355 PS and 485 Nm. Several other mods, will take the
power up to an amazing 530 hp!
Siemoneit also gives the Volkswagen Golf R20 a special exhaust system, which starts out at 76mm at the turbocharger with a 100 cpi (or optionally a 200 cpi) metal catalytic converter and from there it goes straight through to the two 90-mm exhaust outlets.
