VW has released the first 2012 Volkswagen Beetle teaser video announcing that the world premiere of the new generation model will take place on February 6, 2011. Actually, this 2012 Volkswagen Beetle teaser video announces a commercial for the new model which will be aired during the Super Bowl, on Sunday. Unfortunately, no additional details regarding the 2012 Beetle have been released at this point.
The 2012 Volkswagen Beetle will probably be put on sale with both petrol and diesel engines, coupled to either manual or automatic transmissions. The 2012 Volkswagen Beetle might also get VW's DSG gearbox, which offers faster shift times, together with improved fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
