One of the first review videos of the new generation 2012 Volkswagen Beetle comes from the British AutoExpress magazine. They test the 2.0-liter turbocharged 2012 VE Beetle on public roads and share their findings in terms of handling, comfort and built quality. VW's 2012 Beetle 2.0 TSI has an output of 200 hp, a 7.4 l/100 km fuel consumption and a 173 g/km CO2 emissions level. This version of the 2012 Beetle comes with both a manual transmission, and Volkswagen's DSG 7-speed gearbox.
The 2012 Volkswagen Beetle is also available with a 1.4 TSI engine, a 2.5 petrol unit (USA market) and several diesel options, including a 1.6 TDI and a 2.0 TDI. VW prices the 2012 Beetle from 18,995 USD in the United States, which is the
cost of the 2.5 L version. The 2012 Volkswagen Beetle model tested in this video, the 2.0 TSI, is priced from 23,395 USD.
