VW has launched a new version of its van, the Volkswagen Transporter Rockton, which is more oriented towards the off-road part of the action. The Volkswagen Transporter Rockton is based on the latest version of the van, and being an off-roader, it has VW's 4MOTION Haldex permanent all-wheel-drive system. Apart from the trick AWD system, the Volkswagen Transporter Rockton also has a reinforced suspension system, which also increases the ground clearance by up to 30 mm.
The Volkswagen Transporter Rockton is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine that comes in two power levels, 140 hp or 180hp, which is coupled with a manual transmission.
The Volkswagen Transporter Rockton also has
tougher rims and all-terrain 16 inch tires. As an option for the new version of the van, VW is offering various protection part for under the Volkswagen Transporter Rockton. This will prove them selves useful when driving over rocks and rough terrain. they protect the fuel tank, transmission, rear axle and exhaust system of the VW Transporter Rockton.
