The first details of the Volkswagen eBora have surfaced the web as the electric VW Bora has been spied in the wild. Apparently, the electric Volkswagen eBora is set for the Chinese market, where the prototype has been spotted completely uncovered. Currently, the electric VW Bora is in testing and will be launched on the market as the 2013 Volkswagen eBora.

The Volkswagen eBora features various new styling and aerodynamics elements, including LED daytime running lights and tail lights, a more compact front grille and light alloys wheels.

Early indications say the Volkswagen eBora will pack around 300 kg of electric lithium ion batteries, grouped in 30 cell, that will juice

one electric motor. the exact output and performance figures of the Volkswagen eBora are still a mystery. However, our sources say that the electric motor powering the Volkswagen eBora has been developed by the Japanese company, Sanyo.
