| As a new commercial stunt, Jaguar pits the XJR against Jetman Yves Rossy in a drag race across the Dubai desert. The Jaguar XJR is being driven by Formula 1 star Martin Brundle. The drag race between the human jet and the Jaguar XJR takes place on a 1.75-mile long track. The advert aims to demonstrate the Jaguar XJR's All Surface Progress Control (ASPC). This system is mean to maximize grip in tough conditions. During the race, the XJR reached a top speed of 174 mph (280 km/h). | |||||||
