The Nurburgring is 20.8km long, it has more than 150 corners and 300 meters of elevation. According to McLaren, the P1 regularly pulled up to 2Gs during cornering. The McLaren P1 is able to get from nought to 300 km/h in 17 seconds and it can reach an electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph). In the famous Karussell, the P1 pulled as much as 3.9G ! On the Dottinger Hohe straight the P1 achieved the highest top speed of the run, which is 330 km/h (205 mph) in Race mode.
The McLaren P1 is powered by a 3.8-litre twin turbo V8 petrol engine that develops 737PS (727 bhp) and a 179PS (176 bhp) electric motor. The total output of the P1 is 916 hp. With so much power under its hood, the P1 is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds and to 124 mph (200 km/h) in just 6.8 seconds.
