1952 Jaguar C Type for 2.5M USD

RM Auctions has registered a new auction record with a 1952 Jaguar C-Type which sold for 2.5 million USD. The auction for the 1952 Jaguar C-Type ended at $2,530,000.

This particular 1952 Jaguar C-Type was one of the first delivered in the U.S. and was driven by Phil Hill, who was 25 at that time, to its first North American victory at Elkhart Lake.

The 2.5M USD 1952 Jaguar C-Type (s/n XKC-007) was actually driven to the auction, held at RM's Sports and Classics of Monterey event in California, by Phil Hill’s son, Derek.
