The 1983 Bentley Mulsanne Turbo Mentley Insanne is powered by a 6,750 cc turbocharged V8 engine that outputs 328hp and is coupled with a three-speed automatic transmission. It has a 3,060.7mm wheelbase and comes with a four-wheel independent suspension with coil springs and rear self-leveling, four-wheel disc brakes.

Visually, every panel of the 1983 Bentley Mulsanne Turbo Mentley Insanne, except the bonnet, has been modified by hand and parts from nine other cars had to be used to reach its shape. The roof of the 1983 Bentley Mulsanne Turbo Mentley Insanne has been lowered by 76 mm and features a glass landau top made from a Mercedes 280SL panoramic roof.
