Yesterday Ford released the first image and technical details of the new 2010 Ford Fusion Sport. The 2010 Ford Fusion Sport will be powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that outputs 263 hp and 249 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine of the 2010 Ford Fusion Sport uses a lightweight dual-overhead cam valvetrain for peak power and smooth operation at high RPMs. the unit also features intake variable cam timing that optimizes valve timing which translates into a smooth idle and a broad torque curve.

The engine of the 2010 Ford Fusion Sport has a 10.3:1 compression ratio and aluminum cylinder heads designed for high airflow and optimized combustion.

The 2010 Ford Fusion Sport price has not been announced yet.
