Ford EcoSport (2014)

Ford revealed the new EcoSport (2014) SUV, ahead of its global premiere, which is scheduled to take place at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The Ford EcoSport is going to be sold with a choice between three engines: 1.0-litre EcoBoost developing 125 PS, a 1.5-litre petrol engine developing 110 PS and a 1.5-litre diesel engine with an output of 90 PS. Ford is will sell the EcoSport compact SUV equipped with the SYNC voice-activated in-car connectivity system and the Emergency Assistance system. The EcoSport is Ford's first model to offer the SYNC AppLink system in Europe. This innovative system enables the occupants of the car to voice-control smartphone apps. The Emergency Assistance system enables the driver to call local emergency services in case of an accident.

The system uses the car's GPS to communicate the SUV's exact location.

The equipment list of the Ford EcoSport includes an Electronic Stability Program and Hill Launch Assist.

The Ford EcoSport's price has not been announced yet, fur the Blue Oval says it will go on sale towards the end of this, year.
