Shelby American, a company better known for their high-performance versions of the Mustang, revealed at this year's North American International Auto Show their version of the Ford Focus ST hatchback. The Shelby Ford Focus ST is based on the latest version of the hot hatch and it is a car that Carroll Shelby wanted to build before his passing. Shelby's Focus ST comes with a lowered suspension, bigger brakes, and bespoke tires that promise a better grip. For an unmistakable soundtrack, Shelby equips their version of the Focus ST with a new exhaust system, which was developed in collaboration with the specialists from Borla. The Shelby Focus ST comes with a customized interior that features a new shifter with the CSM badge.

Shelby Focus ST's distinctive exterior features include functional hood vents, hydro-carbon front and rear grille inserts as well as a spoiler made from the same material. Of course, the hot hatch also comes with the all-important "go faster" stripes.

The Shelby Focus ST's price starts at $14,995, which does not include the cost of the actual car. Shelby says that only 500 units of the Focus ST are going to be built each year.
