The first official image of the new 2010 Opel Astra image has leaked into the web today. The word is the manufacturer plans to reveal the 2010 Opel Astra at the next Frankfurt Auto Show in the fall. following the same design cues as the new Insignia, the 2010 Opel Astra aims at the C segment competition including the new Golf, the Renault Megane and the Peugeot 308.
The new 2010 Opel Astra will have more generous dimensions than its predecessor and will probably feature engines with power figures between 70 hp and 200 hp for the petrol versions. The diesel versions of the 2010 Opel Astra will develop between 90 hp and 150 hp.
Although the low-res 2010 Opel Astra image leaked today shows only the rear end of the new car, we expect to see more photos in the days to come.
