Dodge is currently promoting the new generation 2011 Durango with several commercials which emphasize the performance-oriented character of the SUV. In one of the latest TV spot, Dodge employs the help of seven Stig look-a-likes. Dodge calls them "professional drivers", but the white race driver suit and helmet definitely hint at the Top Gear star. We're wondering where did they find so many of them. We bet there's a secret Stig farm somewhere. One that only Top Gear, and well, Dodge, know about.
The 2011 Dodge Durango is available with a choice between two engines, a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and a powerful 5.7-liter HEMI V8. The V8 version of the 2011 Durango features variable-valve timing (VVT) and Multi-displacement system that enable
the engine to run in 4-cylinder mode when the extra power is not needed. This greatly improves the fuel economy of the SUV.
