2013 Dodge Caliber Debut

 »  »  »

Various sources are reporting today that the new generation 2013 Dodge Caliber will have its world debut at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. A fuzzy rendering of the 2013 Caliber also surfaced the web today, showing the completely new design of the hatchback. Dodge's current generation Caliber did not have an immense success and this gave Sergio Marchionne an incentive to re-design the whole thing.

This image shows the concept of the 2013 Dodge Caliber, since the vehicle doesn’t seem to be production ready. It has low-profile tires, LED daytime running lights / fog lights and a pretty aggressive design.

The 2013 Dodge Caliber will be built based on

Fiat's C-Evo platform, but it will have slightly more generous proportions, especially for the USA market version. Fiat is currently using the C-Evo platform for the Alfa Romeo Giulietta.

We'll have more details on the 2013 Caliber as soon as they're available.
