The new 2011 Lancia Stratos had recently its unveiling party, where it was joined, as announced, by a second unit covered in a rally livery. It seems that as previously speculated, the new 2011 Lancia Stratos is not such a one-off vehicle. This means that the Lancia Stratos GT2 could also become a racing reality. The new 2011 Lancia Stratos unveiling took place in France, at the Paul Richard race track, where this video was shot.

The new 2011 Lancia Stratos is based on the Ferrari F430 Scuderia chassis, which has been shortened by 20 cm. The 2011 Lancia Stratos is also lighter than the F430, with a total weight f just 1247 kg. the power comes from a 4.3-liter V8 that sends 540hp and 500 Nm of torque to the

rear wheels via a 6 speed sequential transmission and a Drexler mechanical variable differential.

The top speed of the new 2011 Lancia Stratos is rated at 274 km/h and the 0-100 km/h acceleration time at 3.3 seconds.
