New details and images of the new 2011 Lancia Stratos have been released. Unfortunately, the full specs and performance figures of the 2011 Lancia Stratos are still a very well kept secret. The initiator of the new 2011 Lancia Stratos project is Michael Stoschek, a collector and driver of historic racing cars. Although the first details of the new 2011 Lancia Stratos came pout only a few months ago, the car has entered development back in the fall of 2008, at Pininfarina in Turin, Italy.

As you probably already know, the 2011 Lancia Stratos is a non-commercial project, developed by Mr. Stoschek and his son. Although they say only one will ever be built, they do take into account building an additional 24 of them.

The 2011 Lancia Stratos is built on a shortened Ferrari 430 Scuderia chassis, that has been fitted with a roll cage and a full carbon fiber body. The official numbers say the 2011 Lancia Stratos has a 2.25 kg per hp power-to-weight ratio and a 50:50 weight distribution.

The 2011 Lancia Stratos was tested for the first time at Balocco and its manufacturers say it has exceeded all expectations.

We'll have more details on the 2011 Lancia Stratos as soon as they become available.
