The 2011 Mercedes SLK has been spied recently in France by an amateur. It's not clear at the moment of this is a new version of the model or just a 2011 Mercedes SLK facelift. The spy images of the 2011 Mercedes SLK were taken outside Paris and show a heavily camouflaged vehicle that respects the general proportions of the German model.
As seen from the images, the 2011 Mercedes SLK will have a folding hard-top and will probably have redesigned front and rear fascias. What's sure is that the 2011 Mercedes SLK \will feature a more aggressive front, with LED daytime running lights, which are a must these days, and probably LED rear lights too.
Daimler will probably put the new 2011 Mercedes SLK on the same market segment as the BMW Z4, so it's price should match the one of the Bimmer.
As far as the engines go, the 2011 Mercedes SLK is expected to have both petrol and diesel units, as well as an AMG version.
