2012 Audi A6 Avant Debut

Audi announced today that the world debut of the new generation 2012 A6 Avant will take place in Berlin on Wednesday, May 18, at 8 pm CEST. The 2012 Audi A6 Avant, will be the seventh generation of the business class estate that hopes to be as successful as its predecessors. Audi promises that the 2012 A6 Avant lighter than the current version and that it will be packed with new technology.

Even though Audi did not disclose a lot of details regarding the new A6 estate. However, we can safely say that most of the features found in the new 2012 Audi A6 sedan will find their way into the Avant. This includes the engine and transmission options, as well as all the other systems that make life easier behind the wheel.

The diesel range of the Audi's new A6 Avant will include a 2.0 TDI developing 177 hp and a 3.0 TDI with 245 hp. The 2012 Audi A6 Avant will also be available with petrol engines, including a 2.8 FSI with an output of 204 hp and a 3.0 TFSI developing 300 hp.

The 2012 A6 Avant will come with the company's quattro all-wheel-drive system, and with both manual and automatic transmissions.
