Recently, the future 2012 BMW 1 Series M Sports Package has bee caught on spy camera while testing on the Nurburgring race track. Although we can't distinguish much of its styling because of the psychedelic camouflage tape that covers the 2012 BMW 1 Series M Sports Package prototype, we do have additional info regarding its engine line-up. Apparently, the top of the range 2012 BMW 1 Series M Sports Package will be powered by the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine that will send 322 hp and 450 Nm of torque to the rear wheels.

The body kit of the new 2012 BMW 1 Series M Sports Package will include a new front spoiler with large air intakes, new side skirts, and a new rear spoiler. The 3.0-liter engine on the 2012 BMW 1 Series M Sports Package it's been uncovered by the presence of the two large exhaust pipes.

The M package may also include a rear roof spoiler.

If we speculated based on the previous version, the 2012 BMW 1 Series M Sports Package interior will feature sport seats, a new steering wheel, gear knob and pedals, and better quality materials.
