Hartge has finally come up with a serious power upgrade for the high-performance BMW 1 series M. Hartge managed to raise the output of the 3.0-liter engine from 335 hp to 295 kW (401 hp) at 5,850 rpm and 530 Nm (lb-ft 391) of torque at 2,950 rpm (the dyno sheet is available below). Hartge's power curve is very narrow at the top, which means you'll have a lot more power, but for narrower rev range. This means that you'll have to shift perfectly in order to get the all the performance the car is able to offer. Hartge's upgrade for the BMW 1 series M does not raise the CO2 emissions of the car and it manages to reduce its fuel consumption by 0.5 liter per 100 km.

In terms of performance, the Hartge BMW 1 series M is able to get from 0 to 200 km/h in 11.34 seconds, which is 2.18 seconds faster than the factory car.

The top speed is kept limited to 250 km/h. Hartge does not disclose the 0-100 km/h acceleration time of their 1 series M.

The Hartge BMW 1 series M comes with a 30-mm lowered suspension, boot lid and roof spoilers, and 80-mm stainless steel exhaust system. For the interior of the 1 series M Bimmer, Hartge offers a set of aluminum pedals, and various badges.
