Lancia revealed today the new generation 2012 Ypsilon, by releasing a huge image gallery and all the details of the new version. For the first time with the 2012 model, Lancia is offering a 5-door version of the Ypsilon, which now measures 3.84 meters in length. The 2012 Lancia Ypsilon aims to be regarded as a premium, luxury model, destined for city use. It comes with a range of new technologies, including Bi-Xenon headlights and LED tail lights, Blue&Me-TomTom LIVE and the second generation of the Magic Parking system.

The 2012 Ypsilon is 167 cm wide, 152 cm high and has a 239 cm wheelbase. Lancia says it can accommodate up to five people while having the most spacious luggage compartment in its segment.

The 2012 Lancia Ypsilon will offer a choice between three engines, a 1.2 Fire EVO II, a 0.9 TwinAir and the 1.3 MultiJet II, all of which are Euro 5 compliant. Lancia's 2012 Ypsilon 1.2 Fire EVO II develops 69 hp with 102 Nm of torque and promises a 115 g/km CO2 emissions level. The 2012 Ypsilon 0.9 TwinAir has an output of 85 hp and 145 Nm of torque. Lancia says it emits 97 g/km of CO2

The most powerful version of the 2012 Lancia Ypsilon will have a 1.3 MultiJet II engine developing 95 hp at 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm at just 1500 rpm.



Lancia is offering a range of customization options for the 2012 Ypsilon. Its options list include 3 interior trim levels, 16 body shades, including 4 two-tone ones, 6 different upholstery trims and 3 types of alloy wheels.
