Fiat released today the first images of the 500e concept, which is going to have its world debut at the 2012 LA auto show. The Fiat 500e is an electric version of the popular 500 and that's about it. Fiat did not disclose any other details regarding the 500e so far. The Fiat 500e will have its first public appearance at the American Music Awards on Sunday, November 18. The 500e is not just a concept as Fiat says it will put on sale in California in 2013. They did not announce its price yet. In terms of exterior design, Fiat's 500e comes with new front bumper and probably a re-designed rear end, since it does not require any exhaust pipes. At the interior, the 500e is slightly different in comparison to the regular Fiat 500.
Apart from the 500e badge, it has a new dial instead of the classic speedometer and a distinctive color scheme.
