The Italian aftermarket specialists from Aznom premiered their mid-engine Fiat 500 Abarth at Top Marques in Monaco. Aznom's mid-engine Fiat 500 is powered by a 1.4-liter turbo unit from Abarth that outputs 240 hp and 330 Nm of torque. The power is sent to the rear wheels, and not to the front ones as in the standard 500, through a 5-speed transmission.
Aznom's Fiat 500 Motore Centrale (Italian for mid-engine) comes with a limited slip differential, a McPherson front suspension and a fully adjustable A-Arm rear one and Bilstein shock absorbers.
For improved braking power, the mid-engine Fiat 500 received vented brake discs for both the front and the rear axles, together with 4-piston calipers.
Thanks to a weight of just 1050 kg, the mid-engine Aznom Fiat 500 is able to reach a top speed of 245km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 4.7 seconds.
The price of the Aznom Fiat 500 Mid Engine is still kept secret.
