2020 Fiat 500 and Panda

 »  »  »

Students from the Royal College of Art revealed today a few drawings of the 2020 Fiat 500 and of the 2020 Fiat Panda. The Fiat 500 Spresso is inspired by coffee and it's the work of Alexander Ibbett (Interior Design) and Liza Ricciardi (Materials). The Fiat 500 Cheerfully Irresponsible is the work of Pierre Andlauer. Francesco Binaggia proposed the Fiat Panda Hug, while Francesco Binaggia designed the Panda Roomy. The students we mentioned, together with the rest of the 10 winners of the competition, are going to visit the FIAT Centro Stile (Styling Centre) in Turin. There they will be able to build their concepts at full scale in clay. Maybe Fiat will show these concepts in public at one of the following auto shows.

Other winning designs include the Fiat 500 Experience by Adam Peacock, the Panda Vivo by Xinglin Sun, the Panda Flex by Gemma Waggett and the Anima Panda by Amy Lee.

We're curious whether or not these design ideas will ever make it into production.
