The first images of the new generation 2013 Porsche Cayman leaked over the web, ahead of the sports car's debut, which is scheduled for the 2012 Los Angeles auto show. The base version of the new Porsche Cayman (2013) is going to be powered by a 2.7-liter flat 6-cylinder engine, with an output of 265 hp. The 2013 Porsche Cayman S is going to have a 3.4-liter boxer engine that's good for 315 hp. These are the same engines and the same engines as the ones used for the 2013 Boxster. In them, the 2013 Boxster is able to get from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.7 seconds, while the Boxster S is capable of doing it in 5.0 seconds. The 2013 Porsche Cayman is expected to have similar performance figures. It's also possible that the 2013 Cayman is a bit faster than the Boxster.

We're going to have all the details and specifications of the 2013 Porsche Cayman in a few hours, when the new model makes its debut in Los Angeles.
