The first images and details of the 2014 Kia Forte (known as the Cerato on some markets) have been released today. The world debut of the 2014 Kia Forte is going to take place at the 2012 Los Angeles auto show, as the end of this month. The 2014 Forte (Cerato) features Kia's new "face", which includes the now trademark front grille, headlights and rear end design. For the 2014 Forte, Kia is going to offer LED DRL integrated into the headlamps, LED tail lights and a higher quality interior than before. Unfortunately, there no official images of the 2014 Forte's interior at this time. The 2014 Kia Forte (Cerato) is sold on the carmaker's home market as the K3.
The K3 has a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine that develops 140 hp and 167 Nm of torque. We can expect the 2014 Forte (Cerato) to receive the same powertrain, but other engines might be available too.
