Kia revealed today the refreshed 2014 Forte Koup, which now offers a turbocharged version. The 2014 Kia Forte Koup is going to be sold with a 1.6-liter gasoline direct injected turbo engine that develops 201 hp at 6,000 rpm and 195 lb.-ft. of torque between 1,750-4,500 rpm. Apart from this unit, Kia will offer the new Forte Koup (2014) with a 2.0-liter GDI four-cylinder diesel engine that's rated with 173 hp at 6,500 rpm and 154 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,700 rpm. The new Kia Forte Koup (2014) will be available in two trim levels, EX and SX, and with a choice between a 6-speed manual transmission and an automatic transmission. The 2014 Kia Forte Koup EX comes as standard with 16-inch alloys, UVO eServices with Rear Camera Display, Bluetooth connectivity, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with integrated audio and cruise control buttons, FlexSteer, tilt and telescoping steering column, power windows and LED positioning headlights with fog lights.
The 2014 Forte Koup SX is equipped as standard with 18-inch alloys, dual chrome exhaust tips, and LED tail lights. The 2014 Koup SX distinguishes itself from the EX through a more aggressive looking front bumper, black gloss grille inserts, and bigger brakes.
Optionally, you can equip your new Kia Forte Koup (2014) with HID headlights, a navigation system with HD Radio, a sunroof, a heated steering wheel, a 10-way adjustable power driver's seat, heated front seats and ventilated driver's seat, leather styling accents, SmartKey with push-button start, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
The 2014 Kia Forte Koup's price is going to be announced at a later date.
