Kia announced today the price list of the new 2013 Carens for the UK market, where the new model just went on sale. The 2013 Kia Carens is a 7-seat compact MPV, which is going to be available with a choice between three engines: a 1.6 GDi petrol with 133bhp and 165Nm, and two versions of the 1.7 CRDi diesels, with 114bhp and 134bhp. The 2013 Kia Carens is going to be sold in the UK with either a 6-speed manual transmission or an automatic gearbox. The British version of the 2013 Carens comes equipped as standard with the Intelligent Stop and Go (ISG) engine stop-start system, which reduces the MPV's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Kia also equips the new Carens (2013) with a Motor Driven Power Steering (MDPS) system, which comes with the triple-mode Flex Steer function.
This new systems enables the driver to select a greater level of assistance, which makes parking easier.
The 2013 Kia Carens UK price list starts at £17,895 for the entry level 1.6 GDi, and it goes up to £23,895 for the top of the range 1.7 CRDi.
