Kia announced today the price list of the 2012 for the UK market, where it will go on sale on September 1st, 2011. Kia will sell the 2012 Rio with a choice between several petrol and diesel engines. The entry level 2012 Kia Rio will come with a 1.25-liter engine, developing 83 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 121 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The 2012 Rio 1.25 has a top speed of 106 mph and it's able to get from 0 to 60 mph in 12.6 seconds. It offers a 56.5 mpg fuel consumption and a 114 g/km CO2 emissions level. The 2012 Kia Rio will also be available with a 74 bhp and 170 Nm of torque, 1.1-liter CRDi engine, a 1.4-liter petrol developing 107 bhp and 137 Nm of torque and a diesel 1.4-liter CRDi with 89 bhp and 220 Nm of torque. The British version of the 2012 Kia Rio will be sold in four trim grades, and it will come as standard with LED daytime running lights, speed-variable windshield wipers, headlamp leveling, electric windows on the front doors, 15-inch steel wheels, a height-adjustable driver's seat, and an adjustable steering column. The 2012 Kia Rio will also feature MP3-compatible RDS radio and CD player with USB and AUX ports and a 12-volt power socket.
The 2012 Kia Rio price list starts at 10,595 GBP for the 1.25 ‘1’ version and it goes up to
14,895 GBP for the top of the line 1.4 CRDi ‘3’ EcoDynamics.
