Kia Sports Sedan Concept

Kia announced today that it will unveil a new four-door sports sedan concept at the 2011 IAA Frankfurt auto Show, next month. Even though the Korean car manufacturer released a few images of their new sport sedan, they did not disclose any actual details about the new concept. They didn't even announce its name yet. What they did say is that the new sports sedan concept previews Kia's future design direction. Judging from the looks of the new concept, we're pretty confident it will be a bright one.

Kia says that the new sports sedan concept combines a sleek and muscular look, with a sophisticated and elegant interior. We can't help ourselves noticing that the vertical vents on each side of the front fascia, together with they

way they combine with the headlights, do seem to be inspired by the Aston Martin One-77. A Kia with an Aston Martin inspired front end? Not a bad deal! However, we have to get a clear view of the car's front end before giving a final verdict on this.

Peter Schreyer, Kia Motors Chief Design Officer, describes the new concept as full of energy and "ready for take-off".

Kia will premiere their new four-door sports sedan concept alongside the three-door version of the Rio and facelifted version of the Soul.
