The first images of the new Kia GT leaked today over the web. Kia announced the new Gran Turismo concept back in August, but at that time, they did not disclose its name, calling it just a "sports sedan". The world debut of the Kia GT will take place at the Frankfurt auto show, and it's unclear at the moment whether or not the new concept will make it into production. What we know so far about Kia's GT, is that it will be rear-wheel-drive, and that's about it. Kia is still keeping everything a secret.
The new GT features Kia's trademark front grille, but we get the feeling we've seen that front end before. Maybe it was Aston's One-77, or the GQbyCITROEN concept, but we're sure we've seen those vertical front side vents somewhere else.
In any case, a production version of the new Gran Turismo could represent a step forwards for Kia, towards becoming a premium brand.
