Opel revealed today the facelifted 2014 Meriva MPV, which is scheduled to go on sale next month. In terms of exterior design, the 2014 Opel Meriva Facelift comes with a new front grille, restyled fog lamps with chrome frames, modified headlights, LED DRLs, and LED tail lights. The new Opel Meriva (sold as a Vauxhall on the British market) is going to be sold with a new EURO 6 1.6 CDTi diesel engine that develops 136PS and 320Nm of torque at 2,000rpm. Opel says that with this engine, the 2014 Meriva facelift offers a fuel economy of 64.2mpg (4.4 liters per 100 kilometers) in the combined cycle with a 116g/km of CO2 emissions. The 2014 Opel Meriva 1.6 CDTi accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 9.1 seconds. The facelifted Meriva (2014) continues to be equipped with the FlexDoors and FlexSpace systems.

Apart from the new 1.6-liter CDTi engine, Opel's 2014 Meriva is going to be available with 1.4 liter gasoline engines (88 kW/120 hp and 103 kW/140 hp), and an LPG engine. Opel is going to sell the 2014 Meriva facelift with a choice between a revised 6-speed automatic transmission and a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The 2014 Opel Meriva facelift's equipment list includes an IntelliLink infotainment system, a FlexRail central console, and a 7-inch color monitor.
