Various sources are reporting today that Opel / Vauxhall plan to launch a convertible version of the Adam soon. The Opel Adam cabrio will probably go on the same market segment as the Fiat 500C. This means it could also employ the same convertible solution as the 500C. This means it's going to have a fabric soft-top that would slide backwards using tracks in the roof. In order to save luggage space, which is not too much in the case of the Opel Adam, the carmaker is going to make the rear window fold down on top of the boot. With the top down, the Opel Adam Convertible will still have its door frames and roof line in place. This means that the general proportions of the Adam cabrio will not differ from the hard-top version.
The Opel Adam cabriolet is going to offer the same engine options as the current version. This means it will have a 70 hp 1.2-liter engine, or an 87 hp 1.4-liter unit, or a 100 hp 1.4-liter engine. We'll have more details regarding the Opel Adam Convertible as soon as they're available.
