Opel / Vauxhall revealed today the Adam Rocks special edition, which is going to get its global premiere next month at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The Opel Adam Rocks is powered by the 1.0-litre ECOTEC Direct Injection Turbo three-cylinder engine that develops 115PS and 166 Nm of torque. There's also a 90PS version of the same engine too. This version of the Adam Rocks features variable valve timing, a switchable water pump and an integrated exhaust manifold. Opel's Adam Rocks comes with six-speed manual gearbox. Apart from this engine, Opel / Vauxhall is going to sell the Rocks version of the Adam with a 1.2-litre engine with 70PS and a 1.4-litre available in two power outputs, 87PS and 100PS.

The distinctive features of the Opel Adam Rocks include taller, wider and tougher in appearance, a full-length electric folding canvas roof and a 15-mm higher stance. The Adam Rocks comes with re-tuned dampers, springs, rear suspension geometry, and steering. The mini comes with 17- or 18-inch alloys, a front trapezoidal grille, a rear roof spoiler, LED DRLs.

The equipment list of the Opel Adam Rocks includes smartphone functionalities, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, audio streaming, a seven-inch high-definition color touch-screen and seven speakers. The Opel Adam Rocks' price has not been announced yet, but the car maker says it's going to put it on sale this summer.
