Opel revealed today this cute little hot mini called the Adam S. The Opel Adam S is going to have its world debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, at the beginning of next month. It will probably go on sale soon after, but its price has not been announced yet. The Opel Adam S, which is going to be sold as a Vauxhall in the UK, is powered by a 1.4-liter Turbo ECOTEC petrol engine that develops 110 kW/150 hp and 220 Nm of torque. According to Opel's specs, the Adam S is rated with a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time of 8.5 seconds and a top speed of over 200 km/h. Apart from the extra power, Opel's S Adam comes with a specially tuned chassis, OPC high-performance brakes, and optimized aerodynamics. The engine of the Adam S is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
The Opel Adam S comes equipped with Start/Stop technology, dual cam phasing for continuously variable valve timing, a turbocharger integrated within the exhaust manifold, a cast iron block with a hollow frame structure, hollow-cast camshafts and a plastic intake manifold. Opel's specifications say the Adam S has a fuel consumption of 6.4 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers.
