Opel revealed today their latest model, which is a compact size SUV called the Mokka. The Opel Mokka will have its world debut at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show in a few months' time. However, if you're interested in finding more about the new SUV, we'll be happy to tell you that it has already been unveiled today at the Detroit auto show under the Buick Encore name. Opel's new SUV, which bound to go on sale in Europ0e, will also be available in the UK, where it will be marketed as the Vauxhall Mokka. We guess General Motors invested too much money in this project to sell the car under just one brand.

The Opel Mokka will be sold with the same engine options as its British counterpart.

Opel's Mokka will be available with a 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol unit (103 kW/140 hp and 200 Nm of torque), a 1.6-liter petrol (85 kW/115 hp) and a 1.7 CDTI diesel. Gearbox options include two 6-speed units: a manual and an automatic. Available with both fron-wheel-0drive and AWD, the Opel Mokka will feature several fuel saving systems, such as Start / Stop.

Opel's Mokka will be available in a five-seat configuration and it will offer plenty of storage space (a 1,372-liter luggage compartment and other additional storage spaces).

The Opel Mokka will go on sale across Europe at the end of 2012. Its price may vary according to market.
