Seat revealed today the new 2014 Cupra, which comes in two body styles, a three-door and a five-door, and in two power levels. Both version of the 2014 Seat Leon Cupra, the 5-door and the 3-door SC, are powered by the 2.0 TSI 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, that develops 280 hp (206 kW) and 350 Nm of torque between 1,750 rpm and 5,300 rpm. The 2014 Leon Cupra SC is also available with 265 hp. Depending on the version, the new Seat Leon Cupra (2014) is able to get from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in between 5.7 and 5.9 seconds and to reach an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). In terms of efficiency, Seat rates the 2014 Leon Cupra with a fuel economy ranging from 42.2 mpg to 44.1 mpg (6.4 l/100 km to 6.6 l/100 km). Its CO2 emissions range from 149 g/km to 154 g/km.
Seat equips the new Leon Cupra (2014) as standard with a mechanical front axle differential lock, a progressive steering system, DCC dynamic chassis control and a special ESC with two-stage deactivation and complete deactivation. The new Seat Leon Cupra (2014) is going to be available with either a 6-speed manual transmission or the DSG gearbox. The 2014 Leon Cupra's engine features a dual-injection system (direct injection and manifold injection).
The 2014 Seat Leon Cupra comes with a distinctive body kit that includes a new front bumper with large air intakes, a rear apron with an integrated diffuser, and a roof spoiler. Seat equips the 2014 Leon Cupra with full-LED headlights, exclusive 18-inch alloys (optional 19-inch ones), red brake calipers, and tinted windows. For the interior of the 2014 Leon Cupra, Seat is offering a sports steering wheel, Alcantara sports seats, black full-leather upholstery, aluminum pedals and sills. The 2014 Leon Cupra is also equipped with DAB digital radio, the Media System Plus system, rain-sensing wipers, and automatic headlights.
The 2014 Seat Leon Cupra's price list for the UK market starts at £25,690 OTR for the 265 hp SC and it goes up to £28,525 OTR for the 280 DSG model.
