Paul Feig, the 2016 Ghostbusters movie's director, revealed recently the new Ecto-1, which is based on a 1980s Cadillac. The 2016 Ecto-1 Cadillac is going to be driven by an all-female Ghostbusters crew that includes Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. Chris Hemsworth is going to play the role of the secretary. According to various sources, Andy Garcia is going to play the role of New York's Mayor, and Niel Casey will play the villain. The 2016 Ghostbusters movie will also feature Matt Walsh as Rouke and Michael K. Williams as Hawkins. The new Ecto-1 is built on a Cadillac Fleetwood Station Wagon, and it has all the ingredients to become a classic. The first Ecto-1 was based on a 1959 Cadillac and it was one of the starts of the movie. Currently, the 2016 Ghostbusters crew is filming in New York.
So far, Paul Feig did not disclose the date on which the 2016 Ghostbusters movie is going to be launched.
