AC Schnitzer BMW M Carbon Racer Bike

 »  »  »

AC Schnitzer revealed this week their new BMW M Carbon Racer bike, whose main purpose is to demonstrate the benefits of lightweight construction. AC Schnitzer's new BMW M racing bike is 12.7 percent lighter than the standard one, having a weight of just 6.9 kg. To reduce the weight of the already lightweight bike, AC Schnitzer used a new set of carbon fiber wheels developed by Xentis. The original saddle, saddle support and crank have been replaced with carbon fiber ones. The new racing bike is still a concept, but AC Schnitzer plans to put it into production. The price tag of the new BMW bike is a bit more than would've imagined. AC Schnitzer won't sell you one for less than 4.950,00 EUR, which includes the standard BMW M Carbon Racer, the upgrades, and the 19% VAT.
