Alpina revealed recently the new 2013 B3 Biturbo which is based on the BMW 3 Series F30 (335i). The new Alpina B3 Biturbo is powered by the same 3.0-liter 6-cylinder twin-turbo engine as the new generation BMW 335i, but it comes with several performance modifications. Alpina did not yet disclose what mods did they make to the engine, but we're pretty sure there's a reprogrammed ECU somewhere in there. There's also a sport exhaust system with four tailpipes, two on each side. The Alpina B3 Biturbo is expected to have an output of 410 hp between 5,500 rpm and 7,000 rpm and 560 Nm of torque. Its engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a rear-wheel-drive system. However, Alpina says they are currently working on an all-wheel-drive version of the B3 Biturbo. In terms of performance, the B3 Biturbo is able to get from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.2 seconds and to reach a top speed of 190 mph (just over 300 km/h).

Alpina says that the new B3 Biturbo has a fuel economy of 30.9 US mpg / 37.2 UK mpg (7.6 l / 100 km) and a 177 g/km CO2 emissions level.

The Alpina B3 Biturbo's price has not been announced yet. We'll have more photos of the new B3 Biturbo, as well as additional specifications next week.
