In the latest episode of his web-based car show, Jay Leno reviews the new Aston Martin Virage - a model that falls between the DB9 and the DBS. Aston's Virage is 4.7 m long coupe that's powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine with an output of 490 bhp and 570 Nm of torque. Aston Martin says that the Virage will accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.6 seconds and that it will get to a top speed of 186 mph (299 km/h). As usually, Mr. Leno presents the car from every angle, before taking it out for a spin.
Aston equips the Virage with a Touchtronic 2 six speed automatic transmission, carbon-ceramic brakes and a limited slip diff. In terms of comfort oriented options, the list includes a
700W Dolby Pro Logic II sound system, iPod and Bluetooth connectivity and Bi-Xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights. The price of the Aston Martin Virage for the North American market will be announced at a later date.
