In the latest review video, the journalists from AutoExpress put the Mercedes SLS AMG against the Aston Martin Virage in a comparison test on the race track. Let's see how they compare on paper. The Mercedes SLS AMG has a 6.3 liter V8 engine developing 571 hp and 650 Nm of torque. It requires 3.8 seconds to get from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) and has a top speed of 317 km/h. Mercedes will sell you and SLS AMG if you pay at least 177,310 Euros.
On the other hand, the Aston Martin Virage is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine developing 490 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 570 Nm of torque at 5,750 rpm. This means the Aston is a little bit short on power. Aston's official performance numbers say that the Virage can accelerate
from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.6 seconds and that it has a top speed of 186 mph (299 km/h).
